Looking to strengthen your health center’s financial standing but unsure where to start? CLC’s Grants Team is available to offer comprehensive grant research services and provide a strategic approach to identifying funding opportunities that align with your organization’s unique mission and needs.
Grant funding is available through federal and local government agencies, grantmaking foundations, and private corporations. Although you may be familiar with some of the large federal grants (Service Area Competitions or Bridge Funding), keep in mind that in 2022, SAMSHA alone awarded over $2 billion in grants to improve and expand healthcare services to underserved communities. And that’s just one federal agency! There are over 86,000 grantmaking foundation entities and corporations that offer over $21 billion in annual grant opportunities.
No matter the project, some grantmaking entity somewhere has available funding and we want to help you find it! It’s important to stay open-minded during this process as funding is diverse and can support a wide range of services or programs including:
Operating & Capacity Building: Support day-to-day costs related to personnel, equipment purchases or facility improvements to serve a larger population and respond more effectively to community health needs.
Program Expansion: Specific initiatives aimed at addressing community health needs that expand beyond current services offered at your health center. These can include, but are not limited to, outreach initiatives, collaborative projects with neighboring health centers to establish greater coordinated care or increasing support for disease-specific programs.
Technology & Infrastructure: Invest in electronic health records (EHR systems), telemedicine resources, remote patient monitoring, and other advancements that improve patient care and streamline administrative processes.
Training & Education: Support to ensure healthcare professionals and staff stay current with the latest medical practices, technology, and healthcare trends. Grants can also support workforce development to increase the supply and retention of healthcare personnel.
Still trying to figure out the details of your project? Let’s work through it together! At CLC, we understand that grant applications can be time-consuming, and guidelines often seem vague. In the past, you may have wondered if your organization meets the funder’s requirements or if your proposed program aligns with the grant’s goals and outcomes. CLC’s grant prospecting services help to bridge that gap!
Our prospecting process kicks off by establishing clear goals and priorities for your project which allows our research experts to effectively pair your needs with suitable grant programs. CLC’s experienced grants team helps ensure that your grant applications meet all compliance requirements and will navigate communication between the funding organization to verify that your project aligns with their mission and values, increasing the chances of a successful application. From here, we’ll prioritize the grants and deliver to you a list of opportunities for which you could apply immediately! CLC’s grant writers are also available to help fit all the pieces together to craft a compelling case for funding and assist with any additional application requirements.
From research and identification to application construction and submission, CLC is a one-stop-shop for the entire grants process! If you would like more information, please contact us at info@communitylinkconsulting.com.
